Cay Moore PT, PYT-c
Physical Therapist

Grounded. Warm. Thoughtful.

Cay received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from UNC Chapel Hill in 1993. For the first 10 years of her career, she worked mostly in inpatient and outpatient rehab as well as home health and a variety of settings across the US as a traveling physical therapist. During this time, she became interested in functional manual physical therapy and began studying extensively with the Institute of Physical Art.

Cay began practicing yoga in 2002 and loved how it complemented her client’s physical therapy sessions and improved her own physical, mental and spiritual health. She completed her yoga teacher training through the Holistic Yoga Therapy Institute in Charlotte and earned her RYT 200. In the past 10 years, she has studied Medical Therapeutic Yoga through the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute. She has taught alignment based yoga classes for the past 18 years and loves working 1:1 with clients to help them make modifications to their current yoga program or develop an individualized yoga program to further their fitness/rehab goals.

Since 2014, Cay has worked in private practice and began studying Myofascial Release and Integrative Lifestyle Medicine. She is an Advanced Myofascial Release Practitioner and utilizes the concepts of good nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management and social connection to assist her clients in reaching their wellness goals.

Cay has 3 (almost grown) children and a dog. Playing outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, reading and learning all make her very happy. She is super excited to join the Congruency team and looks forward to helping clients reach their full potential.
