Our Services
Functional Manual Therapy®
All of our therapists are trained in the dynamic hands-on whole body approach of Functional Manual Therapy®. This paradigm is the foundation of what makes our physical therapy practice unique. There are 3 pillars to this approach:
-
Efficiency in mobility in the soft tissues, joints, viscera, and neurofascial structures
-
Ability to turn on synergistic muscles with appropriate strength and endurance
-
The ability to sequence recruitment of smooth, controlled movement through a range of motion
Dry Needling
Address trigger points in your muscles with our dry needling service. Dry needling is an excellent tool to decrease tightness in muscles which can lead to pain, headaches, and mobility restrictions.
Your physical therapist will insert thin, solid needles into a muscle at specific points, known as trigger points, to relieve pain and improve muscle function by stimulating the tissue and releasing tension, without injecting any medication. These trigger points may be cause pain in other parts of your body.
