Meg Mizrachi PT, DPT, OCS
Lake Norman Clinic Director, Integrator
Energetic. Inquisitive. Determined.
Meg received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercy College in New York and joined a private practice on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. While there she developed specializations in treating runners and dancers; pelvic floor and postpartum issues; and connective tissue disorders like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Her strong interest in helping people overcome injuries and return to their sport as quickly as possible has also led her to earn certifications in emerging techniques such as trigger point dry needling, RockTape, Personalized Blood Flow Restriction, and Graston. Since then she has become a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the APTA.
Prior to PT school, Meg earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. As a professional dancer she worked with modern dance companies in NYC and abroad. Though her first love was dance, her desire to analyze movement and help others move sent her back to school. Meg has completed the NYC Marathon and can be seen as a fitness model on RunnersWorld.com. With a passion for fitness and wellness, Meg strives to help every person recover from injury, restore function and become their best self.
In 2020, Meg, her husband Eliot, and their two crazy boys outgrew their apartment lifestyle and relocated to North Carolina where she joined Novant Health. Despite the benefits of working in a large health network, she missed the personal relationships and broader treatment opportunities she enjoyed in private practice. In 2022, she jumped at the opportunity to join Congruency Therapy & Wellness and embrace its mission and values. Inspired by mentorship offered at the company, she is currently pursuing a certification in Functional Manual Therapy® through the Institute of Physical Art.
