Claire earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from McNeese State University before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Wingate University. After becoming licensed, she joined a private outpatient practice, where she developed extensive experience in manual therapy and treated a wide range of conditions, including vertigo, balance disorders, post-surgical recovery, low back pain, shoulder injuries, and knee pain. During this time, she also discovered an interest in working with individuals with Hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Claire participated in a variety of sports growing up, with soccer being her favorite. Her path to physical therapy began in high school after she broke her ankle during a soccer game and underwent physical therapy herself. At the same time, she was taking athletic training courses as an elective, and the combination of those experiences solidified her desire to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Claire is passionate about treating the whole person, not just the injury. She focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of dysfunction while helping patients build the knowledge and confidence to manage their own health. Her philosophy is that a physical therapist’s role is to “work themselves out of a job” by empowering patients to prevent future injuries and maintain the active lifestyles they enjoy.

Claire is certified in Dry Needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT) and continues to expand her clinical expertise through advanced training. With a strong foundation in manual therapy, she is excited to learn more about Functional Manual Therapy and treating Hypermobile individuals through the mentorship offered at the company.

Outside the clinic, Claire enjoys spending time with her husband and children, participating in activities at church, and listening to a variety of music on her record player.
